I complain quite a bit about my Catholicism. I view being raised a Catholic as something akin to be raised a Jew: there seem to be deep rooted cultural elements that go above and beyond a religious belief per se. I think it would also be interesting to have a Jewish-Catholic cage match using guilt as the weapon. But I digress. Really, I have such problems with the religion of my birth because of my personal experiences with my faith, that may or may not reflect the faith in general, have soured it for me. That being said, as I've gotten older and calmed down a bit, I've come to appreciate how exceedingly reasonable the Church can be on some matters.
