- Don't worry, I'll stop the lame themed blog post titles soon. Less because I've finally found some respect for myself, and more because I'm running out of vowels.
- This gallery of weird and compelling signage is truly fantastic. I have many favorites. The strange and random details are what make these really great. Thanks to ye olde Wandering Star for bringing this to my attention.
- A new blogger on Backwards City brings us something else that's also weird and compelling: a retelling of Oedipus, written completely in vanity license plates.
- It's Pac-Man, but real and with robots! Awesome. (Via Joystiq, natch.)
- The Penny Arcade today explores levels of shame.
- Man, sometimes I really love Jack Black. Apparently he wanted his buddy Dave Grohl to get a cameo in King Kong as Satan. That would have been awesome. Furthermore, Satan, as Black points out, is "kind of like Darth Vader" and "pretty much invented rock." All hail, my friend. All hail.
(Btw, the Cinematical blogger writing this story is a little too snarky and a little too literal-minded for my taste. I suspect that the devil does not actually appear in King Kong at all, and Black was just kind of blue-skying here, because he's crazy like that.)
