Just got back from this movie. How was it, you say?
ABSOLUTELY FRICKING FANTASTIC.
There were some negatives, of course. The computer generated characters were...well, computer generated characters, so they looked a little fakey sometimes. The dialogue was occasionally just a bit corny and lame. And maybe the acting wasn't top notch, but when can you do, they're kids!
All things considered, it was an amazing film. Totally exciting and moving. It really brought back that child's sense of wonder that I felt when I first read the books. And it made me cheer, and clap, and even cry.
Seriously, it was totally excellent. See it immediately! |
