- Hey, that indie Hamlet re-adaptation I posted about so long ago I barely remembered it (this was way back in November folks! Hoo boy) has finally got its star: Josh Hartnett. I find the fella a bit icky; probably it's the whole teen heartthrob thing. But he might work. *shrug*
- I loved this interview with King Kong, especially the references to his friends and relations, the other giant monsters. (Via Backwards City)
- Dude wrote a program that predicts blockbusters with relative accuracy. Why can't I come up with ideas like that?? This guy's going to make millions of dollars now; the studios are already talking to him about buying his software. Bastard.
- Wow, this is so awesome. There's an independent film coming out in February called Horrors of War, and the story goes like this: near the end of WWII, Hitler gets desperate and unleashes his secret weapons: zombies and werewolves. Sweet!! I cannot wait to see this. I believe the ultimate goal of film has been realized, my friends, and it is Nazi zombies and werewolves.
- Hey, I don't like to steer you folks wrong, so remember that Midway arcade cabinet I posted about a long time ago that sounded so cool and that they were going to sell at Target? Well, sounds like it actually really sucks. Just so's you know.
