Bounces and Flops |
by Fëanor |
- Sad news. Character actor Vincent Schiavelli has died of lung cancer. I saw him most recently in the Heat Vision and Jack pilot movie, but you might remember him from One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest or Ghost, or perhaps even Tomorrow Never Dies or The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension. He was a fun actor who always played an interesting character, and he will be missed.
- Turns out Back to the Future 4 is more likely to be a lame straight-to-DVD movie than it is a silver screen sequel starring Michael J. Fox as Doc. Ah, well. I'll still probably track it down when/if it comes out.
- For those of you already missing the Christmas buzz, here's a little hair of the dog that bit you. That's a rewrite of "'Twas the Night Before Christmas" in the style of Hemingway. Highly accurate and amusing. (Via Backwards City)
- This is awesome - the internet defeats Big Business again. That's a list of hard to find 800 numbers, including the customer service numbers for Amazon.com, eBay, PayPal, Yahoo, and Microsoft. Mwa ha ha ha. Yeah, they might change their numbers, but you know somebody'll just figure them out and post them again. (Via Backwards City)
- Btw, I won't bore you with a painfully detailed list of everything I received for Christmas, but let it be known that I got lots of really cool stuff and I am very thankful to everyone.
