Yetis and Wildebeests |

- Every time I think The Prestige can't possibly get any better, somehow it does. Now Andy Serkis (your favorite creature actor, responsible for Kong and Gollum) has joined the cast as Mr. Alley, an assistant to David Bowie's Nikola Tesla. Rocking.
- Dreamworks just bought the rights to another graphic novel, so the next film adaptation of a comic book is on its way! This time it's of a book called Button Man: The Killing Game. Thankfully, this is not about a superhero who uses coat buttons to defeat his enemies. Instead, it's about a bunch of disaffected rich folks who pit their personal assassins against each other in a secret and deadly game. Sounds awesome.
- Check out some seriously amazing pics of an incredibly detailed, hand-made Bag End dollhouse. (Via Backwards City)
- I haven't been able to read the entire thing, because it's incredibly long, but it's also quite interesting, so I present to you a two-part profile/biography of comic book superhero The Flash. (Via Backwards City)
- Oops - looks like that thing about the Optimus keyboard being out February 1st was a bit of a false alarm. What's actually coming out is just a three-key peripheral device that uses the same technology. (Via Digg)
- Another ridiculously huge, impressive, and detailed item built out of LEGOs! This time it's a life-size model of Han Solo frozen in carbonite. Awesome. (Via Digg)
- Mortal Kombat Armageddon sounds awesome. 60 playable characters, including pretty much everybody to ever be in an MK game, plus a revamped fatality system, mid-air combos, and a Konquest mode based on Shaolin Monks. Of course, it's only for PS2 and Xbox. Sigh.
- Ah, the snarky, geeky T-shirt. A true art form. (Via Digg)
