Black Holes and Hat Racks
 by Fëanor

  • Fun iPod accessory #285: Levi's RedWire DLX Jeans, available this Fall. I know what you're thinking, but no, they're not for your iPod to wear - they're for you to wear. They include a specially designed pocket for storing your iPod (which allows easy access to the device and supposedly has a "docking cradle," although hopefully that doesn't mean the pants are electrified); a special joystick remote control in the watch pocket with play/pause, track forward and back, and volume control; and a retractable headphone unit built into the jeans. They even have Apple-esque minimalist design. Dude, that's so awesome. (Via Digg)

  • If you go to Cambodia anytime soon (although why you would be considering such a trip I can't imagine), remember to beware the ARMY OF GLUE-SNIFFING MONKEY GANGSTERS that they have there now. Holy crap!

  • Haven't tried it out, but this site Game Oldies looks pretty cool. Supposedly thousands of old arcade and console games are available to play here for free, right in your browser, using Java. Sweet. (Via Digg)

  • A geeky coincidence for Apple. (Via Digg)

  • Speaking of Apple (and who isn't these days, what with the MacWorld and all?), check out this amazing music video done on an Apple II. Those crazy hax0rs. (Via Digg)

  • Katamari Damacy redone with cute plush remote-controlled princes pushing velcro balls. Neat! There's even a video. (Via Joystiq)

  • Listen up, TrackerNeil: This upcoming indie zombie movie Fido sounds really cool. It's set in a weird little '50s-style town where the dead have risen, but have been enslaved via special collars and are now doing menial work, like delivering the mail. Unfortunately, things start to go wrong when Timmy's favorite zombie Fido eats a neighbor. Aw, poor Timmy! The flick even stars Carrie-Anne Moss, and is being released by Lion's Gate. Check out some fantastic pictures here.
