I'm really enjoying this series so far, but I don't want to skip to #5 and then go back to #4 when I find it, because that's confusing, so now I have to wait to continue reading until I can find #4. Suck!
New Releases
The All New Atom #12
I did not enjoy issues #7-11 of this book very much, but they were throwaway, filler stories. I'm hoping the book will get back on track this week, as we're returning to the main story of the search for Ray Palmer, the original Atom, a mystery which is also central to what's going on currently in the DC Universe as a whole, as far as I could tell from what I read of Countdown. If it doesn't pick up soon, though, I think I'm going to drop this one, just like I dropped Countdown.
Buffy Season 8 #4
Yay, Buffy! Skinless dude is back and it's time to see what he's going to try to do to Willow.
Dark Tower #5

This is a trade collection of a short series by JMS imagining how the Marvel universe might have changed if that scientist guy had died before administering the super soldier serum to Steve Rogers, instead of after. In other words, what would the world be like without Captain America? An interesting question, especially in light of the fact that in the actual Marvel Universe he has just been killed. (Speaking of which, what kind of crummy super soldier serum leaves you vulnerable to bullets? Seriously.) |
