| Most Overused Sound Effect Ever |

The sound of a needle scratching across a record. So many commercials use this sound effect to indicate a sudden shocking and comedic turn of events. But it's just not clever or funny anymore. It's cliche and annoying. Plus, do the kids these days with their CD players and their iPods even know what that sound is from? Or to them does it just mean "I'm supposed to laugh now?" |
