Septa and the damn union are fighting over healthcare, Septa wanting the workers to pay a share of it, workers not wanting to. So, in an effort to lure people to its "side," the union is airing commercials that will cost $70,000. Let's recap. The union has $70,000 to spend. Now, I hate to be all Norma-Rae-hatin' here, but, and this is just a thought, maybe you could put $70,000 toward the healthcare bill assholes. Ahem. I am perhaps less likely to be supportive of the union since their actions may well cause me to walk upwards of 40 blocks a day, and while I like the exercise, I also like getting home before the moon is out and/or not getting caught in hurricane fallout. Goddamn Septa. |
