I just wrote this entire entry, and then my IE froze and crashed, and I lost it. @#&$%! Anyway, let's try this again...
- For whatever reason, this isn't as impressive to me as it seems to be to everybody else, but it's still pretty cool: full motion color video and audio on the first IBM PC ever. (Via Digg)
- Remember that SNL rap music video about The Chronicles of Narnia I posted a ways back? And that everybody else posted everywhere else, too? Well, here's a new version of it! The audio's the same, and the visuals are all as close as possible to the original. What makes it impressive and funny is that it's all acted out by a couple of five-year-olds lip-synching. (Via Digg)
- I'm a little behind on my blogging, so you've probably heard this already, but the WB and UPN are merging together into a new network called CW! Apparently it's happening in September. I don't watch any shows on either of those networks, so this isn't going to affect me too much either way, but it's crazy, huh? Hopefully it will mean less lame programming polluting the airwaves, but that's probably asking too much; no doubt new cable networks will spring into existence to immediately fill the crap gap left behind. (Via Backwards City)
- Pics are now online of Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale in costume for my favorite upcoming movie, The Prestige. Frankly when I saw the Cinematical headline "First pics from The Prestige," I was expecting something a little more exciting, but these are okay, I guess. Anyway, they're Prestige-related, so I had to post them.
- Figure out how interesting your IP address is! The calculation involves determining how good a poker hand it would make, and what color it would be, but you can't deny its accuracy. It's science! (Via Digg)
- And now, just for fun, a monkey ice-skating.
